Since adopting a continuous publication model from Volume 6, Issue 1 (2022), accepted manuscripts are made available online as soon as they complete the review and editorial process, further expediting the dissemination of new research. This progressive approach aligns with the journal’s mission to promote timely knowledge-sharing within the academic community, leveraging the Open Journal System (OJS) for seamless online access.

Accredited by the Indonesian Ministry of Research and Technology under SINTA 3 since 2018 (with accreditation valid until 2027), Lire Journal upholds rigorous academic standards, ensuring the quality and reliability of its published works. This accreditation reflects the journal's ongoing commitment to contributing substantively to scholarly discussions, both nationally and internationally, within the fields of linguistics and literature.

It presents articles on the study of language, literature, and culture. This journal was first published in 2017. Lire Journal was initially hosted at lirejournal.ubb.ac.id. Since October 2024, For effectiveness, interface improvement, and increased flexibility of workflow, Lire Journal has moved to https://jurnalsastraubb.id/index.php/elit/index.
